We moved to Charente from the UK with our 2 sons in 2021. We have been exploring this beautiful part of France ever since and we love it here!
Distillerie visits, hands-on workshops, family-friendly activities, scenic walks, local markets, Michelin-starred restaurants, cool rooftop bars, music festivals, action-packed day trips — there’s always something to do! We’re always happy to share our local knowledge and recommend the best the area has to offer for you. And don’t worry, we’ve done plenty of “R&D” (that’s Research & Deliciousness) by trying out all these places ourselves… all in the name of helping you, of course!
